JC`s Bar-B-Q Place in Van Buren

Absolutely Amazing Food never been in the place but ordered off of waitr way exceeded my expectations definitely will eat here again.

We got the rib dinner with fries and coleslaw and the kids slider.there fries were ok. But there ribs were Amazing they were juicy and fell right off the bone . delicious

I would give 10 stars! Brisket, Pulled Pork, Smoked Sausage, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, & Fried Pies were awesome!

First time eating here. I tried the burnt ends after being told they where some of the best around. I must say im very pleased with them. Very little fat and it has a great flavor. I give this a 4.5 score. I was not disappointed with anything. Really good flavor great service and onwe of the few places I actually liked the mac and cheese.

I have eatn about 5 times and I have yet to get anything that's not good every single time I have eatn there it's always been delishious.

Food was amazing! Super tender and juicy, some of the best restaurant BBQ I have ever had. We got a platter with chicken ribs brisket and pulled pork. All were great and the price was fair! Will definitely return.

Wow this little place in Van Buren has great bbq . I didn't even know it was there. The food was amazing and the service was fast.

We were in town on business and look this place up unfortunately have a storm at Dr. up the power when we arrived at the place looked great and you could smell the open pit smoking in the back it made you sell beat the staff was wonderful although when we arrive they were sitting in the dark definitely going to check this place out again

Good Pulled pork sandwiches! Fresh cut fries are always hot and fresh! Good bottles of hot and spicy barbecue sauce. They also have special ranch sauce! Good ribs but never had the brisket! Next time I want to try the burnt enz!

Bought 1lb of brisket and 1lb pulled pork. While the meat wasnt dried out... it was dried. The flavor of the pulled pork reminded me of hot dog spice. The brisket had no real flavor to me. Was really disappointed. We were driving from Vegas to Florida and made a specific stop at JC's. Should have just gone to MCDS. I think if you like their particular spice, then the pulled pork would be fine. If you like a bland brisket then it would be fine. But, I'm from Texas and the bbq is much, much different at JCs than what I know. If you like a TEXAS bbq flavor... then this isnt the place for you. I'm not particularly picky with bbq... and we simply couldn't finish what we bought. Sorry, JC.

Some of the best BBQ I've had. Had the ribs, fries and baked. That sweet BBQ sauce was to die for. Not sure if they have live music every night but they did tonight and those gentlemen sounded amazing. If we weren't from Oklahoma, this would be a regular spot for us. You MUST try their fried pies!

My nephew showed me this place...Great food. It is hard to find a BBQ places that has great BBQ and sides but this place does. It’s nice and cozy inside. I will return

When I walked up to the door I heard a lot of cats and dogs barking but didn't see a shelther near by. The food tasted funny and saw an employee throwing a lot of pet colars in the trash. I would recommend😹

The brisket was tender, moist and very good but the green beans are amazing. So good I could eat just them. Definitely our new favorite bbq place. Husband really enjoyed the burger and fries too.

This is the best BBQ i have in a very long time. The Brisket actually had the correct texture & moisture . Upon visual inspection you could tell it was cooked & prepared correctly and it met my expectations.Pork Butt is easy most everyone can serve a decent pulled pork however ribs are the tricky thing and JC'S are tender & moist and just good. Their sausage was very good too. For me this is very important JC's serves a medium width hand cut French fry. I had the baked beans. I had the 3 meat combo and it came with 3 sides.(brisket, pulled pork, sausage, double fries & bbeans. Wife ordered the ribs. Definitely worth a return trip. The staff are beyond Southern Nice.

This place surprised me. It looks unassuming from the outside but the food was great. One star taken for the confusion between the 2 buildings and not having an eastern North Carolina vinegar based sauce or plain old hot vinegar available. Otherwise it was great.

OMG, BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich, Stuffed Bake Potato & Cajun Corn was SO GOOD! Intimate dining on Thursday evenings with live music. Aroma so wonderful you want to live here (like the birds on the sign outside)

Really good BBQ, price is decent. Cramped seating and a bit of a wait for the food though they opened a place next door that is for fast options, haven't tried it.

Great food. We order them off of Waitr a lot. Only complaint I have is the fries, usually bland and soggy.

This pace deserves at least a tie for best bbq in the River Valley. Their brisket is amazing! Ribs are great! Chicken is moist and juicy - which is really rare in bbq joints these days. If you just want a good burger, JC's cooks them like you would in your own back yard.

Very good pulled pork sandwich. The hot sauce had a nice spice and I love spicy. Brisket had a nice flavor a little to tender. Ribs very good but just a bit to tender. The apple pie was delicious. Peach pie very good and blue berry was tastey. Friendly service, highly recommend all to stop and fill up.

Traveling from Maryland to Vegas with my mom, I insisted that we eat some proper bbq, despite losing 30 minutes of drive time to eat *heaven forbid* and, wow. Brisket was tender and juicy without excess fat. Try it with hot and sweet sauces. The coleslaw even impressed my 71 years young coleslaw aficionado mother. I truly regret not getting more sliced brisket and slaw to go. The place was packed and the service was fast and everyone was smiling. Great job JC's!

Green beans were great! Had the half chicken. Mine was overcooked and dry. I was a little disappointed.

I called and wanted to order a bacon cheeseburger and fries! They were out of bacon so I went with my 2nd choice, the mushroom Swiss burger. What a fortunate circumstance for me! It was phenomenal! The home-made fries were delicious. That burger was literally one of the best burgers I have ever had!!!

I've eaten bbq nation wide. The quality of the meats here beat anything I've had elsewhere. Slaw, beans and all excellent. Improvements needed for sauces, too much vinegar! That's the overwhelming problem , flavor of sauce covered up by vinegar. One other disappointment the burnt end dinner was $14.95 and while the meat was good it was NOT BURNT ENDS. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Please try this place. It is good food. It's just that I love burnt ends and I payed a lot for a lunch expectation which didn't happen.

1st time here and it was pretty good. I had the JC which was a pulled pork sandwich with bacon and sausage on it. It tasted great I added the mild bbq to it and it had a nice sweet taste. Baked beans were also very good my kids loved them as well. Potato salad wasn't bad I just prefer my moms lol. My wife tried the pork belly sandwich and couldn't finish so I topped it off, was fantastic. Besides feeling a little cramped it was a great experience.

Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Order process moved along quickly and the food came out reasonably quick. I personally had the brisket and sausage (brisket was very tender and both had great taste). Wife had the frito pie and said it was good. Friends had the ribs, which looked fantastic and they said were really good and they also got the chicken which they said was phenomenal. So, great food all around.
